With a blazing 2-0 start to the PVL 2024 Reinforced Conference, the retooled Akari Chargers can still get better with the imminent return of outside hitters Erika Raagas and Janine Marciano.

Fans have yet to see Raagas and Marciano on the court for the Chargers in the team’s first two games, but recent developments will surely be a welcome sight for the team’s supporters.

According to Akari Management, Raagas spent time with her family in the US last month and returned a couple of days before the tournament. Working hard to get back in shape, the former Blue Eagles aims to get back into action as soon as possible.

Barring any setbacks, Raagas is on track to make her debut in the import-laden conference sooner rather than later.

Marciano, who had a minor left knee surgery on May 24, is ready to suit up for the Chargers in their match against Petro Gazz later today. She will, however, continue her rehab and conditioning as she recovers from the surgery.

The Akari Chargers will gun for their third straight win in Pool B as they clash with the Petro Gazz Angels at the PhilSports Arena at 3 p.m.
