The Akari Chargers take down the Capital1 Solar Spikers in straight sets, 25-17, 25-14, 25-20, in the PVL2024 All-Filipino Conference at the PhilSports Arena, Thursday night.

Coming off a victory against Galeries Tower last Saturday, the Chargers secured their second straight win and fourth overall as they remained in contention for a semifinals slot.

Dindin Santiago-Manabat once again turned back the hands of time as she erupted for 25 points composed of 20 attacks, three blocks, and two aces.

Grethce Soltones delivered an all-around performance of nine points, 14 excellent digs, and nine excellent receptions, while Ezra Madrigal and Faith Nisperos chipped in eight markers apiece.

Meanwhile, Jorelle Singh scored all of her 10 point from the attack department supported by Janeca Lana’s eight and Lourdes Clemente’s six markers, respectively.

Akari will next collide with the Chery Tiggo Crossovers in a crucial match on April 20, Saturday at the Sta. Rosa Sports Complex in Laguna at 4 p.m.
