The Adamson University (AdU) Lady Falcons failed to repeat over the University of the East (UE) Lady Warriors in the second round of the UAAP Season 86 women’s volleyball tournament last March 23.
Adamson opened the second round of eliminations with a four-set loss to UE and suffered its six defeat against two wins.
Ishie Lalongisip led the scoring for AdU with 17 points built on 15 attacks and two aces, while Barbie Jamili and Antonette Adolfo added 11 and 10 markers respectively.
Meanwhile, UE’s Casiey Dongallo erupted for 28 points scattered on 25 attacks, two blocks and one ace, while Riza Nogales put up six blocks from her 17 markers.
The Lady Falcons look to bounce back against the league-leading University of Santo Tomas (UST) Golden Tigresses on April 3, Wednesday at the MOA Arena, 4pm.
