PASIG CITY – The Nxled Chameleons put up a fight before falling in four sets to the streaking Chery Tiggo Crossovers, 25-23, 23-25, 16-25, 20-25, in the PVL 2024 All-Filipino Conference at the PhilSports Arena, Tuesday night.
Ivy Lacsina paced Nxled with 20 points, while Lycha Ebon and Camille Victoria drilled in 14 and 12 markers respectively.
Jhoana Maraguinot also had a monster performance as she scored 11 points and patrolled the floor with 13 excellent digs and 31 excellent receptions in a losing effort.
Meanwhile, Mylene Paat led the scoring for Chery Tiggo with 15 points. Eya Laure posted 12 points built on eight attacks and four blocks, while Princess Robles added 11 markers.
Jen Nierva carried the load on floor defense as she tallied 20 excellent digs and 12 excellent receptions.
The Chameleons dropped to a 1-5 record and will aim to bounce back against Strong Group Athletics on April 4, Thursday at the PhilSports Arena, 6pm.
