The Nxled Chameleons was handed a straight-sets loss by the Choco Mucho Flying Titans, 11-25, 20-25, 19-25, in the PVL All-Filipino Conference at the PhilSports Arena, Tuesday.

Jhoana Maraguinot led the way for Nxled with 14 points and 13 excellent receptions, while Judith Abil contributed 11 points off the bench.

Meanwhile, Choco Mucho’s Sisi Rondina topped the scoring with a game-high 16 points in 14 attacks and two blocks. The 5’6 outside hitter also had a solid outing defensively as she tallied 12 excellent digs and seven excellent receptions.

In the first set, Choco Mucho brought out the canons as it capitalized out Nxled’s receptions issues with a whopping 17-3 advantage in attacks to secure the opening set win.

The Chameleons put up a better fight in the second set before the Flying Titans pulled away late to go up 2-0.

In the third frame, both teams were tied at 19-all with Nxled hanging on and looking extend the match. However, Choco Mucho unleashed a 6-0 run to finish off the latter for its fourth straight win.

Playmaker Kamille Kal had a rough at the office with only eight excellent sets against Deanna Wong’s conference-high 20.

Lycha Ebon and Cams Victoria also had a bad day at the office as they only scored six and four points, respectively.

The Chameleons will be back in action against the Chery Tiggo Crossovers on Thursday, 4pm still at the PhilSports Arena.
