Saksakan ng Galing: Points flow for Rivera in second game

Prisilla Rivera showed her worth in her second outing for Akari, pouring in a set’s worth of points to lead the Chargers’ assault on UAI-Army.

En route to their first win in the 2022 PVL Reinforced Conference, the 6-foot-1 outside hitter took advantage of more open lanes while also showcasing her prowess in delivering 25 points all off spikes.

Thus, Rivera’s performance vaulted her into the top five scorers in the tournament, right behind fellow foreign reinforcements like Elena Samoilenko, Odina Aliyeva, and Lindsey Vander Weide.

More is expected from the three-time Olympian in the next games, as Akari hopes to make more noise as the competition moves further.
