Dani Ravena vows to continue growth as starting libero

Dani Ravena’s solid performance manning the floor helped Akari nab its first win in the 2022 PVL Reinforced Conference last Saturday at the Philsports Arena.

But while she is happy to get her breakthrough triumph in the professional stage, Ravena yearns for more personal growth.

“Siguro, yung first game I rate a 2 (out of 10), ito 3 (out of 10) siguro,” she told Akari Sports.

“Kasi I’m not satisfied with how I played.”

Ravena had 15 digs and delivered eight excellent receptions at a 47.1% success rate.

Nonetheless, the former Ateneo team captain vows to push harder as the season goes along.

“Although for me the win is of course the main goal, but personally I know I can do better and I know I can improve each and every game,” she said.

“It’s such a blessing to have teammates na todo suporta sayo whether you’re doing good or bad.”
