Ateneo de Manila stalwarts Jho and Jaja Maraguinot will once again get the chance to play under one team as the Akari Power Chargers confirmed their signing in separate announcements this month.
Fresh from leading the Blue Eagles to a bronze medal finish in the UAAP in Season 84, the older Maraguinot has foregone her remaining playing years in college to go pro.
And to show her appreciation, Jho Maraguinot vows to hustle hard for the Akari Power Chargers. We are rooting for you, Jho! LET’S GO! ⚡️? #AkariRising pic.twitter.com/K6CaxuCJg0

In the UAAP, the sisters played together in Season 82 where Jaja made her college debut but the COVID-19 pandemic got in the way of them leading the Katipunan-based squad in the following years.
The Maraguinot sisters will be joining an Akari squad bannered by co-UAAP stars Trisha Genesis and Michelle Cobb.
