As the Premier Volleyball League 2024-2025 All-Filipino Conference goes underway, the Nxled Chameleons further strengthened their roster with the addition of veteran playmaker Ivy Perez and middle blocker Jeycel Delos Reyes.
Perez, a former setter for the National University Lady Bulldog, previously played for the Petro Gazz Angels.
She also had stints with the now-defunct Quezon City Gerflor Defenders, Army-Black Mamba Lady Troopers, and Foton Tornadoes Blue Energy in the PVL.
The 5-foot-9 playmaker will provide stability with her leadership, veteran presence, and crafty playmaking to a young Nxled squad.
Moreover, the Chameleons added more height with the addition of 5-foot-11 middle blocker Delos Reyes.
Coming out of Ateneo de Manila University, Delos Reyes hopes to fortify Nxled’s net defense along with fellow middle blockers Jaila Atienza, Krich Macaslang, Anne Esguerra, and Lia Pelaga.
The former Blue Eagle played for the Chery Tiggo Crossovers, Farm Fresh Foxies, and Zus Coffee Thunderbelles before signing with Nxled.
Perez and Delos Reyes are welcome additions to the Chameleons who are looking to improve from their 10th place finish last conference.
Nxled will begin their PVL 2024-2025 All-Filipino Conference campaign against the PLDT High Speed Hitters tomorrow, November 12 at the PhilSports Arena at 4 p.m.
