The reigning champions Adamson University Lady Baby Falcons against the De La Salle Santiago Zobel Junior Spikers in straight sets, 25-13, 25-15, 25-19, to clinch their first victory in the UAAP Season 87 High School Tournament Girls’ Division at the Paco Arena yesterday.
Adamson vented its ire on DLSZ, bouncing back after its opening-game loss against the University of Santo Tomas Junior Tigresses last week.
Samantha Cantada led the way for the Lady Baby Falcons as she scored 11 points composed of seven attacks and four blocks.
The San Marcelino-based squad improved to a 1-1 record and now looks to secure its second straight victory as it faces the UPIS Junior Fighting Maroons on Saturday, September 28 at the same venue at 1 p.m.
