PASIG CITY — The Nxled Chameleons outlasted the Farm Fresh Foxies in five sets, 24-26, 25-20, 25-23, 20-25, 15-11, in the PVL 2024 All-Filipino Conference at the PhilSports Arena last Tuesday.
With their second straight victory, the Chameleons kept their semifinal hopes alive and knocked out the Farm Fresh in contention.
Ivy Lacsina led Nxled’s way with 21 points, while Lycha Ebon and Camille Victoria added 17 and 16 markers, respectively.
Moreover, Chiara Permentilla delivered the goods from the bench as she delivered an all-around performance of 16 points, 16 excellent receptions and eight excellent digs.
Setter Kamille Cal took care of playmaking duties with 17 excellent sets. Libero Dani Ravena protected the floor with 19 excellent digs and 15 excellent receptions.
On the other hand, Chinnie Arroyo spearheaded the Foxies’ attack with 19 points built from 18 attacks and one ace, while Caitlyn Viray contributed 18 markers.
Nxled improved to 3-5 and will next collide with the Creamline Cool Smashers on April 13, Saturday still at the same venue at 6 p.m.
