Fifi loves the bright lights.

In a four-set loss to the Creamline Cool Smashers, Akari’s middle blocker Fifi Sharma displayed her best performance so far in the conference, scoring 14 points, which included of 10 attacks, three blocks, and an ace.

Having played in big games in the past, Sharma is no stranger to pressure, so in yesterday’s match against the defending champions, she showed out.

“I really love playing under pressure, always 101%, I love performing in front of a crowd so it’s always nakaka-hype and also siyempre may gigil talga when you’re playing against a champion team,” Sharma said.

After the four-set match, the fiery middle blocker, though surprised, was glad to see her hard work pay off.

“I didn’t even know na I was the leading scorer today so for that information I’m super thankful,” Sharma said.

In their upcoming games, however, the former Lasallian would love to see her team secure a victory.

“Hopefully next game makuha na namin [yung panalo] kasi yun naman yung [primary] goal namin,” she added.
