The Nxled Chameleons suffered its first loss in straight sets, 20-25, 14-25, 16-25, at the hands of the F2 Cargo Movers in the PVL All-Filipino Conference, Tuesday at the Ynares Center in Antipolo.
Lefty opposite Lycha Ebon was the lone double digit scorer for Nxled, carrying the scoring load for the second straight game with 11 points all from attacks.
Jho Maraguinot posted seven markers along with eight excellent receptions and four excellent digs, while middle blockers Krich Macaslang and Cams Victoria added five points each.
Libero Rachel Jorvina held her own on the defensive end with 15 excellent digs.
In the first set, the Chameleons fought tooth-and-nail with the Cargo Movers early on before the latter pulled away midway through to take the opening set.
The Cargo Movers continued its dominance in the second frame, establishing an 11-point lead and not keeping their foot off the gas pedal to take a commanding two sets to nothing advantage.
Nxled brought the fight to start the third canto, but F2 immediately turned things around and worked liked a well-oiled machine to finish the match in three sets.
F2’s Ivy Lacsina tallied 19 points in 15 attacks and four blocks to lead the Cargo Movers to their first victory in two outings.
Jolina Dela Cruz and Majoy Baron, who both played limited minutes last game, unleashed 11 and 10 points respectively.
Veterans Aby Maraño and Ara Galang chipped in seven points apiece, while returning libero Dawn Macandili had 13 excellent digs.
The Chameleons look to regroup and go back to their winning ways against the Petro Gazz Angels on October 28, 6PM at Candon, Ilocos Sur.
