Akari seals partnership with PNVF

Akari threw its support behind the Philippine National Volleyball Federation, committing to help bankroll the national women’s team program.

In a press conference last July, PNVF president Tats Suzara and Akari Sports director Russell Balbacal formalized the partnership, with both sounding optimistic about the partnership.

Suzara extended his thanks to Akari Lighting and Technology Corp. for believing in the federation’s programs.

On the other hand, Balbacal assured Suzara that the company will be behind the PNVF in its quest to deliver sporting glory to the Philippines.

“We are looking forward to helping the national team in every way we can,” he said.

The national women’s volleyball team is handled by head coach Jorge Edson Souza de Brito, whom Akari also hired at its head tactician for the Premier Volleyball League.
