ADAMSON got the job done, joining defending champion National University Nazareth School, Far Eastern University-Diliman, and University of Santo Tomas in the UAAP high school girls beach volleyball Final Four at Sands SM By The Bay on Thursday.
Last season’s bronze medalists, Maegan Pineda and Ella Gonzalvo, defeated UP Integrated School’s Anya Capus and Niña Abad, 21-9, 21-5, and La Salle-Zobel’s Aislinn Alemaña and Tessa Bonafe, 21-11, 21-10, to improve to a 5-1 record.
The Baby Falcons play the Baby Tamaraws at 7:45 a.m. Friday to determine their Final Four ranking.
A win over FEU-D will assure Akari-backed Adamson of the No. 2 spot and will face NUNS for a place in the Final on Sunday.
