The Adamson University Lady Baby Falcons wrapped up their elimination-round campaign with a straight-sets win over the Universit of the Philippines Integrated School Fighting Maroons, 25–15, 25–13, 25–20, in the UAAP Season 88 girls’ volleyball tournament at the Paco Arena, yesterday.

The victory gave Adamson a final 13–1 record to end the round on a high note.

They previously secured the No. 2 seed and the twice-to-beat advantage in the Final Four, where they will face the FEU-Diliman Lady Baby Tamaraws. The semifinal schedule is still to be announced.

Janessa Buhay led the Lady Baby Falcons with 20 points composed of right attacks, one block, and two aces and was named Player of the Game. Yzobelle Katigbak contributed eight points, while Ella Gonzalvo and Cheska Adem chipped in six points each.

UPIS was led by Nina Isabel Abad with 11 points and Anya Callo with nine.

Adamson now shifts its focus to the Final Four as it looks to carry its strong form into the postseason.
