Adamson bounces back with four-set win over FEU Diliman, secures twice-to-beat advantage

The Adamson University Lady Baby Falcons regained momentum after their previous loss by defeating Far Eastern University-Diliman Lady Baby Tamaraws in four sets, 25-19, 22-25, 25-23, 25-18, at the Paco Arena in Manila City last Wednesday.

The Baby Falcons improved their record to 12-1 and sealed their twice-to-beat edge entering the Final Four.

Ella  Gonzalvo led Adamson’s attack with a match-high 25 points, earning best scorer honors. Janna Mabelle Dizon and Kristal Martin added eight points each, while Francheska Adem chipped in seven points.

FEU’s offense was powered by Ifanya Mary Jane Udeagbala, who also scored 25 points, and Joeyana Bongo with 10 points.

The Baby Falcons will close out the second round of eliminations against the University of the Philippines Integrated School Fighting Maroons on Monday, December 1, at 9 a.m., also at Paco Arena.
