The Adamson University (AdU) Baby Falcons fell to National University Nazareth School (NUNS) Lady Bullpups in straight sets, 25-15, 25-20, 25-21, at the Blue Eagle Gym in Quezon City. With this defeat, Adamson’s 12-game winning streak comes to an end.
Adamson, which came into the match with a perfect 12-game record, saw a strong team effort from NUI. The hosts totaled 75 points, powered by 38 spike points, 6 block points, and 5 serve points. They also forced 26 opponent errors to build their lead.
On the Adamson side, Ma. Ellaine Lorraine Gonzalvo led the scoring with 10 points, while Kristal Joy Martin added nine more.
Despite the setback, Adamson remains in strong position in the tournament. Their next match is scheduled for November 26 at 9:00 AM in Paco Arena, where they will take on the FEU-Diliman Lady Baby Tamaraws. The Falcons are expected to regroup and push for a bounce-back performance.
