Adamson University extended its unbeaten run to six wins in as many outings after a convincing 25-4, 25-8, 25-14 sweep of the University of the East at the Blue Eagle Gym last Sunday.
The Falcons displayed a balanced attack led by Kristal Joy Martin and Janessa Blaire Buhay, each tallying 8 points.
Contributions from middle blockers Antonia Baloloy, Seanne Aleixzys Ordonio, and Janna Mabelle Dizon—who all scored 5 points—helped maintain Adamson’s offensive dominance throughout the match.
UE struggled offensively, with Janella Marie Mangahis as their top scorer, registering just 4 points. Despite her efforts on defense with several digs and receptions, the Chameleons could not keep pace.
Adamson will now face defending champions Nazareth School of National University Lady Bullpups in a highly anticipated rematch of last year’s finals on Wednesday, October 15 at 3 p.m. at Paco Arena.
