Nxled taps Spain national team standout Paola Martinez for PVL Reinforced Conference

The Nxled Chameleons have officially announced the signing of Paola Martinez as their import for the upcoming Premier Volleyball League (PVL) Reinforced Conference.

Martinez, born in Spain and representing its women’s national team, brings a strong international pedigree to the Chameleons. Playing primarily as an opposite hitter, she has established herself as a reliable scorer and all-around contributor on the international stage.

The 27-year-old has extensive experience in Europe, having played professionally in Romania, Poland, Belgium, Italy, Spain, and Cyprus. Among her notable stops are with Dinamo București (Romania), Metalkas Pałac Bydgoszcz (Poland), and E.S. Charleroi Volley (Belgium), where she displayed her offensive power and consistency against top-level competition.

Her arrival is expected to bolster Nxled’s offensive arsenal while providing valuable leadership to the young franchise. Backed by her national team experience and club success across Europe, Martinez is poised to be a key contributor as the Chameleons aim to make their mark in the Reinforced Conference.

The Chameleons are coming off an impressive run in the recent PVL On Tour, where they reached the quarterfinals for the first time since joining the league with rookies Lyann de Guzman and Mayang Nuique already in the fold. With Martinez now reinforcing the squad, Nxled looks to build on that momentum and continue its rise in the PVL.
