The future is bright in San Marcelino.
Adamson University announced the commitment of graduating Baby Falcons Shaina Nitura, Felicity Sagaysay, and Mary Ann Grace Del Moral last weekend.
The announcement is a welcome development for the school, which is currently rebuilding after the departure of seven players in the last offseason.
In the recently concluded girls’ volleyball tournament, Nitura, Sagaysay, and Del Moral led their team to their first-ever high school volleyball title by sweeping the tournament. Nitura bagged the UAAP Season 86 MVP, Finals MVP, and 1st Best Outside Hitter awards, while Sagaysay and Del Moral were hailed the Best Setter and 2nd Best Middle Blocker, respectively.
The Baby Falcons trio will be huge additions to the Lady Falcons, who lost middle blocker Lorene Toring to an ACL injury before the start of UAAP Season 86, and with Lucille Almonte graduating after this season. They will also reunite with former teammates Rhed Bascon, Juris Manuel, Eloi Aljibe, and Jen Villegas on the women’s team.
