Pocari sends Lady Falcons reeling to 13th straight PVL loss

Pocari Sweat banked on the firepower of its spikers to sweep Akari-Adamson, 25-18, 25-20, 25-23, to close out their PVL Open Conference campaign on a positive note Wednesday at the Batangas City Coliseum in Batangas.

Myla Pablo and May Ann Pantino took turns in crushing the Lady Falcons’ defense and netting 16 and 10 points, respectively, to even their record at 7-7 while sending their foes to their 13th straight loss.

Jeanette Panaga, Del Palomata and reserve Jozza Cabalsa also contributed to the Lady Warriors’ cause, delivering six points apiece while ex-Adamson libero Jellie Tempiatura had 14 digs for her new team.

In her return to the rotation, Chiara Permentilla scored a team-high 10 points, but connected on just seven of her 24 spike attempts.

Rookie Krich Macaslang and Sang Pinar posted seven markers apiece for the Lady Falcons while Eli Soyud and Trisha Genesis delivered four points each.
