Streaking Falcons look to keep record perfect vs dangerous FEU

In a very tight race for four semifinal slots, every victory is all important.

That is why Adamson will leave no stones unturned in their clash against dangerous FEU in the UAAP Season 81 men’s basketball tournament Sunday at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

Game time is at 4:00pm, with the Soaring Falcons looking to keep their unblemished 5-0 record so far.

As of today, only Adamson and defending champion Ateneo have more than three wins in the season. But separation from the rest of the pack is important if coach Franz Pumaren is serious about making it all the way this year.

The Falcons’ duo of UAAP Player of the Week awardees in Jerrick Ahanmisi and Sean Manganti are of course tipped to lead the San Marcelino crew.

But if there’s any advantage Adamson has over the Tamaraws, it’s depth, as the Falcons can dig very deep into their bench and still get a solid contributor.

FEU, however, cannot be counted out easily, as they boast of blue-chip talents in Arvin Tolentino, Wendell Comboy and Hubert Cani among others.

The Tamaraws tote a 3-2 record and are currently in third place.
