Lady Falcons start PVL Open campaign vs Tacloban

Fresh off a bronze medal finish in the recent PVL Collegiate Conference, Adamson hopes to continue to get better as they begin their PVL Open Conference campaign Sunday at the FilOil Flying V Conference in San Juan.

The Lady Falcons clash with veteran laden Tacloban at 4:00pm right before the main game between Petrogazz and Navy.

Adamson, however, would go to the battle undermanned as they will miss the services of top gun Eli Soyud and old hands Joy Dacoron and Lea Perez.

Soyud and Perez are out for at least a month due to knee and shoulder injuries, respectively, while Dacoron will play for her club team, BanKo Perlas, in this tournament.

The Lady Falcons, though, should not be counted out, as Collegiate Conference awardees Bern Flora, MJ Igao and Thang Ponce remain to spearhead their offense and defense.

Rookies Trisha Genesis, Krich Macaslang, Nikka Yandoc, Chen Ave and Nina Balang are also tipped to contribute alongside Mhay Roque, Kring Uy and Sang Pinar anong others.
