Cute Cry LOL LOVE OMG WIN Annoyed

Jema Galanza will fight for ‘Falcon pride’ in final match for Adamson

Expect Jema Galanza to leave no stones unturned as she plays for Adamson for the last time in the UAAP Season 80 women’s volleyball tournament Saturday at the Blue Eagle Gym.

The Lady Falcons take on the Sisi Rondina-led UST as both teams aim to exit the season on a positive note after both bombing out of the Final Four race.

And Galanza vows to do everything in her power to keep Adamson afloat, even if it means scoring 40 points.

“Kung pwede lang e,” the Laguna native said with a chuckle.

What is guaranteed, however, is that Galanza will give it her all in a bid to salvage what was a nightmarish final season in the collegiate ranks for her.

“Sabi nga ni coach, ilaro mo na yung ‘pinaka-the best’ kasi ito na yung last mo,” she stressed. “Yun talaga. Yun naman lagi ko iniisip. Laban na. Wala na dapat ikatakot.”

And while the game means nothing in the playoff picture, Galanza says she hopes to bag the W to give the future batch of Lady Falcons something to build on in Season 81.

“Natitira na lang is yung pride mo as a Falcon,” she shared. “Yung standing din syempre. Ayoko rin bumaba kami. Para di ganun kapangit yung ranking. Ipaglalaban ko para yung next year maganda yung morale nila.”
