That was how Fhen Emnas summed up her excitement to face first-round tormentor Ateneo in the UAAP Season 80 women’s volleyball tournament again.
Emnas and her Adamson crew get the chance to do just that when they tackle the Lady Eagles Sunday at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in another survival game.
Ateneo edged the Lady Falcons in a thrilling five-setter last month, with Jho Maraguinot doing much of her damage in the fifth frame.
The Katipunan-based squad is currently second in the standings with a 7-3 card and another triumph will bring them closer to a coveted top-two spot armed with a twice-to-beat advantage.
On the other hand, Adamson faces a must-win situation in all of their remaining games, as they sit at fifth with a 5-5 record.
This is not lost on Emnas, who stepped up in their most recent win with 35 excellent sets.
“Syempre kailangan mag-trabaho pa kami,” she said. “Di lang kami titigil sa pinakita namin ngayon. Gusto namin mai-angat pa.”
“Gusto ko lang kuhain tiwala ng spikers ko. Gusto ko lang din yung tiwala nila sa sarili nila hindi nababawasan kasi dun din mag-wowork yung lineup namin.”
