Swingman Jaydee Tungcab out of Adamson basketball pool

Once-promising swingman Jaydee Tungcab is officially out of Adamson’s basketball pool.

None other than head coach Franz Pumaren confirmed the development to Akari Sports, as the former Baby Falcon is nowhere in sight in the off-season tournaments the team has been participating in.

Tungcab has not been attending classes, according to Pumaren, and this is something the management and coaching staff do not tolerate.

“He’s no longer part of the team,” said the veteran mentor. “I don’t think he will pass this semester. He’s not been attending classes and we don’t tolerate that.”

“He won’t be eligible anyway, so what’s the use of him training?” he added.

Once considered a blue-chip recruit in 2015, Tungcab played for the Adamson’s seniors team in Seasons 77 and 78 and was on and off Pumaren’s rotation last season.

Tungcab averaged 6.9 points, 2.9 rebounds and 1.4 assists in his two-year stay with the Soaring Falcons.
