Lady Falcons try to end slide against fellow struggling UST

Adamson tries to find an opening when the Lady Falcons lock horns with struggling UST in the UAAP Season 79 women’s volleyball tournament Saturday at the FilOil Flying V Centre in San Juan.

The clash against the Golden Tigresses will be at 2:00pm, serving as the curtain-raiser for the main game between contenders FEU and NU at 4:00pm.

After suffering their fifth straight loss at the hands of defending champion La Salle, coach Air Padda challenged her wards to be in the right mindset.

“When you get out there, you just gotta fight. You gotta wanna battle,” she said. “You don’t want a team to just lay down and let you win. That’s not fun volleyball. It’s not competition.”

Whether the Lady Falcons got the message will be seen, as they face a UST side that has only won once in its first four outings.
